Services

The external painting of residents’ homes is done on a roster basis by a professional painting company. Residents have various colours to choose from and each house is painted every 5 years. Woodwork is done every 4 years. This is covered by the monthly levy.

When you move into Hunters Village, each resident is presented with a panic button. In case of a medical emergency this will bring ER 24 and the resident Nursing Sister to his/her assistance. Paramedics will assess the situation and render care on site or transport the patient to the hospital. This service is included in the levy.

The basic needs of residents are covered at Hunter’s Village.

Health and Security are considered of prime importance and are covered by the monthly levy.

Hunters Village employs a garden service to mow lawns and to trim the edges of properties once a week. They also maintain the common property. This is also covered by the monthly levy.

Hunters Village gardeners and domestics can be hired at a very reasonable hourly rate with costs added to your levy. Residents also may and do employ their own domestic staff.

For those who are no longer able to drive or who do not wish to drive, Hunters Village Bus takes residents to and from town twice a week at absolutely no cost to the residents.
