Our locality encourages an outdoor lifestyle as there are numerous things to do.  There are delightful walks within the Village. The parklands along the western boundary are especially attractive to residents walking their pets.  We are adjacent to the Knysna Golf Club  and Driving Range, and close to Leisure Isle Country Club for Bowls and Tennis players.   Knysna is full of actviities to keep your body and mind busy including the very active University of the Third Age (U3A), Nature reserves such as the Goukamma Nature Reserve which is A Ramsar Convention site. The surrounding indigenous forests have many spectacular hiking trails, biking trails and well-maintained picnic sites. The Knysna Yacht Club and Knysna Boat Club offer organised boating for water sports enthusiasts. Fishing is a successful and popular pastime in Knysna, Local Gardening and Bird Clubs, are active and provide members with focussed activity. The Knysna Fine Music Society offers monthly music concerts with renowned international artists performing.
